1. Acceptance of Terms

 

By accessing or using the services provided by Ascenzo, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services Provided

 

Ascenzo offers tailored services including but not limited to:

  • Website design and development

  • Cybersecurity consultation and support

  • In-office workspace design

  • Business advice for startups to medium-sized enterprises

We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue any service at our sole discretion, without prior notice.

3. Consultations and Payments

 

Before beginning any consultation, design, or implementation work, Ascenzo will provide a detailed outline of services, deliverables, and payment terms. These will be included in a formal agreement that must be reviewed and signed by the client prior to project start or payment.

No services will be delivered without a signed agreement. Pricing is determined on a case-by-case basis and clearly communicated before engagement. Quotes and invoices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise noted.

Cancellations and refunds are handled in accordance with the signed agreement terms.

4. Intellectual Property

 

All original content, including website designs, graphics, and branding materials created by Ascenzo, remain the intellectual property of Ascenzo unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Clients are granted a license for use of these materials only in the scope of the project for which they were created. Unauthorized reproduction, modification, or resale is prohibited.

5. Client Responsibilities

 

Clients agree to provide accurate, timely, and complete information necessary for the successful delivery of services. Ascenzo is not responsible for delays or issues caused by missing or inaccurate information.

Clients must comply with all applicable laws and refrain from using our services for unlawful or unethical purposes.

6. Use of Third-Party Platforms and Tools

 

To deliver high-quality services, Ascenzo may utilize third-party platforms and tools, such as website builders (e.g., Wix, Squarespace), design platforms (e.g., Canva), and artificial intelligence technologies.

Clients acknowledge that:

  • The use of these platforms is subject to their respective terms of service.

  • Ascenzo is not liable for downtime, performance issues, or changes in functionality on third-party services.

  • Certain elements (e.g., fonts, templates, images) may remain the property of the third party and require proper licensing.

Ascenzo will always use such tools professionally and lawfully in accordance with industry standards.

7. Site Editing and Transfer of Information

 

Ascenzo does not provide editing services for websites that have already been designed prior to our engagement. However, we do offer website migration services, where we can transfer content, information, and data from your existing platform to a new platform that better suits your needs and goals.

Clients who wish to transfer their content should understand that we are not responsible for any design or functionality issues that may arise from the original platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ascenzo shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website.

Our liability is limited to the total amount paid by the client for the specific service rendered.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

 

Our website or services may include links or integrations with third-party services. Ascenzo is not responsible for the performance, privacy, or security of these third-party platforms. Clients are advised to review their terms and policies independently.

10. Governing Law

 

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted according to the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be handled through the courts of Ontario.

11. Accessibility Commitment

 

We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG 2.1 guidelines and strive to meet accessibility level AA. The site content is designed to work with assistive technologies, including screen readers and keyboard navigation. We are committed to ongoing accessibility improvements.

We reserve the right to terminate any engagement if we experience abusive, discriminatory, or disrespectful behavior towards our team. This policy ensures a healthy working relationship where both parties can work together toward achieving the best outcomes.
